Controlling GoStream with Stream Deck via Companion

Preparation

1.Update your GoStream device to the latest firmware version.

2.Download and install the latest version of Companion. The Companion version must be later than v4.0.0.

3.Connect the computer running Companion and the GoStream device to the same network.

4.Connect the Stream Deck device to the computer via USB.

Adding the GoStream Module in Companion

1.After completing the preparation steps above, open the Companion GUI control panel.

2.In the Add New Connection section on the right side, locate the OSEE: GoStream_Series module. Click Add.

3.In the pop-up window, you may modify the Label and select the Module Version. For example, the latest module version may be 2.0.0.

4.After configuring the settings, click Add to add the module.

Connecting to the GoStream Device

1.In the Target IP field on the right side, enter the IP address of the GoStream device. Click Save to start the connection.

2.Alternatively, you may select the GoStream device from the Device list and click Save to connect automatically.

3.When the connection is successful, the connection icon will change to a check mark.

Configuring Stream Deck Buttons

1.After the connection is established, click Buttons in the left sidebar. The Stream Deck button configuration page will open.

2.Configure the desired shortcut actions for your Stream Deck buttons. You can now use Stream Deck to control the GoStream switcher.

Manually Adding the GoStream Module

In some cases, the latest GoStream module may not be available in the official Companion module library immediately. If the latest module version cannot be added using the steps above, download and import the module manually.

1.Downloading the Module Package：

• Go to the Osee official website. Download the Companion module package.
• The module package file is in .tgz format.

⚠️ Please ensure that the downloaded file is a .tgz file. If it is not, please disable your browser's automatic decompression function.

2.Importing the Module Package:

• After the download is complete, open the Companion GUI control panel.
• Click Module in the left sidebar. In the Manage Modules section, click Import module package.

• Locate the downloaded .tgz file. Select the file and click Open.

3.Adding the Imported Module

• Click Connections in the left sidebar.
• Add the OSEE: GoStream_Series module again by following the steps described above.
• In the pop-up window, the latest module version should now be available. For example, the latest version may be 2.1.0. Select the latest module version and click Add.

• Continue with the connection and button configuration steps described above.
