Microphone Setting
1. Introduction
XLR dynamic, condenser, 3.5mm microphones, and 3.5mm line input can be supported.
l Please carefully check the microphone connected to the unit; don’t turn on the 48V phantom power when a dynamic microphone is connected.
l The 48V phantom is always turned off when the unit is powered on to avoid possible damage to the dynamic microphone. Please turn on 48V manually after powering up if a condenser microphone is used.
2. Select the XLR or 3.5mm Input
Select the XLR or 3.5mm input in Audio Mixer/Port.
3. Select the Type of Microphone
Select the line or microphone input in Audio Mixer/Mic type if the 3.5mm input is selected in the Port setting.
Select the dynamic or condenser microphone input in Audio Mixer/Mic type if the XLR input is selected in the Port setting.
The 48V phantom power is turned off when the Dynamic is selected.
The 48V phantom power is turned on when the Condenser is selected.
The unit automatically switches to a dynamic microphone after power-up.
Manual setting of the condenser microphone is needed after powering up.
Set the XLR to Condenser if a dynamic microphone is used with a microphone preamp like Cloudlifter.
