Crashing supersource/browser under full load, NDI audio doesn't work, multisource freezes temporarily when switching 4 NDI/SRT sources, firmware upgrade to v2.1 made supersource even more unstable, no mix-minus or bus audio mix, only very basic audio mixer - no gain reduction indication, delay works only for Mic1&2, laggy multiview, ISO record colours do not match PGM record colour, unreliable Windows application - sometimes changes are not reflected on the mixer and crashes when changing multiview options.

This is a decent switcher for a hobbyist, but very far from a professional product.

This is a fantastic switcher, especially at that price point where there is little to no competition.

However, if you need 60fps and a lot of inputs, this isn't the switcher for you. At the time of writing this review, if you use more than 4 physical inputs, the outputs will be capped at 1080p30. I needed 5 inputs AND 60fps so this was a deal breaker for me.

Thankfully, customer service was very understanding and agreed to refund the product.

I have to dock a point from my rating though, because that limitation currently isn't documented anywhere, which makes the tech specs page misleading.

I love the GoStream Duet 8 Iso, a dynamite small yet a powerhouse especially compared to Blackmagic equivalents. I just have two issue with it though firstly the recording video, sometimes it doesn't complete recording and just saves the files as .tmp and all work goes down the drain and sometimes the video comes out laggy yet perfect audio not sure what the problem is as I use a HIKVISION ESSD -T100 hard drive to record. Not sure if you can advise on what the issue might be and if it's possible to recover .tmp files any help would be appreciated thank you

Very good features and extra ports comparing to Blackmagic switchers. Lots of ports including 2 hdmi , 1 sdi out, 2 *C ports.. all good..
combination of 4 HDMI & 4 SDI is very good and avoid using additional converters.

I had a Gostream Duet and wanted to climb up the streaming ladder. This mixer is just that. With the new firmware, you get 8 physical inputs, iso recording, XLR microphone with 48V support, audio filters for every source, browser overlays, network streams as input, 1080p60 fps video and more! This is such an upgrade over the duet or an Atem mini. Support is great in the Facebook group. I am definitely a fan.
