Introduction:
Auto switching allows the video switcher to automatically change video sources based on the audio signal. When the audio source changes, the video follows, making transitions without manual intervention.
Now, Gostream supports 2-line audio detection auto switching. It can switch between Close up video, wide shot video and SuperSource.

1.ย Brief introduction to the relevant parameters
We design the auto switching system with these parameters to make a seamless and easy-use effect:
Audio Source: It is used to detect the audio signal you need.
Threshold: It is used to adjust the detection standard so that an audio signal above this standard will be considered valid. Please correctly set up the threshold: thereโs crosstalk between two microphones. Please pay attention to the polar pattern of a microphone and try to reduce the crosstalk of two microphones used for auto-switching. The threshold should be set to a level higher than the background crosstalk and lower than normal speaking. Please use the audio level meter to check the settings.
Mapping:ย Map the audio signal and video.
Switching Period:ย The Switching Period controls the overall duration of a camera angle.
AB Priority:ย The AB priority controls the overall possibility of the wide-angle camera. These controls are not precise to have a more natural switching.

2.ย Example
A talk show. Two actors, three cameras, two mics. Cam1 captures a close-up of Actor 1, Cam2 captures a close-up of Actor 2, and Cam3 captures a wide shotย of both Actors 1 and 2.ย Mic1 is for Actor 1, and Mic2 is for Actor 2.
Then the cam1 links to in1 of the switcher, cam 2 links to In2 of the switcher, cam 3 links to In3 of the switcher. Mic1 links to Mic1 of the switcher, Mic2 links to Mic2 of the switcher.
