It's hard to overstate the difference it makes, to be able to clearly see the picture you're trying to frame when outdoors in bright sunlight. I've always relied on EVFs to see what my cameras are doing when the sun is out, but these days, where we're regularly having to operate gimbal rigs outside, EVFs aren't viable, and for that - this 3000 nit monitor has made it possible for me to comfortably see what the camera is giving me, even under the blinding Australian sun.
It's lightweight, but I haven't had any build quality issues to-date. Mine lives permanently attached to my gimbal ring, and I can highly recommend it.
